City Cultural Diversity Award Winners
Five cities were awarded 2007 City Cultural Diversity Awards from the
National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials
of the National League of Cities.
Top awards, given by population category, were presented to:
- Newton, N.C. (population of less than 25,000)
- College Station, Texas (25,001-100,000)
- Chandler, Ariz. (100,001-400,000)
- Las Vegas and Indianapolis (over 400,001)
Cities chosen as runners-up were:
- Greenwood, La. (population less than 25, 000)
- Gaithersburg, Md. (25,001 - 100,000)
- Coral Springs, Fla. (100,001 - 400,000).
